The Collective, a global network of co-living that creates private spaces with communal facilities has announced its recent partnership with Sou Fujimoto Architects in New York City. Located in 1215 Fulton Street, in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn, the building will start welcoming its first tenants in 2022.
A makeover for the Albert Schweitzer Community Centre in Dammarie-les-Lys
The town of Dammarie-les-Lys (Seine-et-Marne) is organized around three main interlinking spaces: the Lys plain, the historic town center and the park surrounding the Abbey. The Albert Schweitzer community center is located in the heart of the Lys plain, in a neighborhood made up of several thousand housing units built in the 1970s and known, at the time, as an «urban center». Built at the foot of two of the highest tower blocks, in front of the 8th May 1945 square, the facility is the centerpiece of the neighborhood and plays a vital urban and landscaping rôle within it.
Nikken Sekkei has been selected as the winner of the international design competition for the Sberbank Business Complex and cultural center in Moscow. The competition was hosted by Russia largest bank, Sberbank. The project is planned to become a new TOD model of Moscow, connected to multiple railway stations, including the metro adjacent to the site. The proposal was based on the concept of two evolving cities that complement and speak to one another through Moscow City and Sberbank City.
Japanese practice Gosize has combined an architects’ studio with a house in a concrete frame with large openings around a small courtyard with a simple pond in Hyōgo, Japan. Called F Residence, the home office sits between two existing houses on a suburban street. Different spaces are split over three levels according to their function.

Nagomi Suites is an accommodation with full serviced suite room facilities located in South Jakarta. Located only 200 meters from Ayodya Park, a green public space in the neighbourhood, Nagomi Suites applied the concept of continuous greenery into the building from the park. Consisting of 6–story, the greenery concept also been done vertically by giving each story layers of the garden, so every room units are having a view of the private garden.
Located on the bank of the historical National 18 and with a view over the Serra da Estrela, the old house began by occupying the rocks that rose near the stream that flows through it.
A renovation project for Danchi (public housing complex in Japan) located in Senri, Osaka. The purpose of this project was “gathering a wide range of residents in this old housing complex.” We designed 4 prototypes for this housing complex (10 units in total).
The city sports center, which started construction on September 6, 2010, is built in a beautiful environment. It is located in the central area of Yudong, near Wenyu Lake. It was designed by Australian POPULOUS Andrew and Siddi (Beijing) International Design Consultant Co., Ltd., China Architecture Construction of the Eighth Engineering Bureau. The total investment of the project is more than 1.2 billion yuan, the actual land area is 646 mu, and the total construction area is 101,700 square meters. It consists of four main buildings: stadium, gymnasium, swimming pool and comprehensive training hall. It is mainly used for regional and national single competitions. . The completion of the sports center will effectively alleviate the current situation of insufficient sports facilities and lack of training venues in Datong City.
Zhejiang Changxing is one of the largest white goods production bases in Asia. As one of the first batches of international cooperative industrial parks in Zhejiang Province, Changxing Sino-German International Industrial Cooperation Park, Zhejiang covers 5 square kilometers with a core center of 0.82 square kilometers. The start-up area of 10 hectares was expected to be built with high standard supporting manufacturing, R&D, offices and living facilities.
