An unstable socioeconomic reality is at the base of the Casa Torre (Tower House) project. The prospect of an uncertain future shaped the program to which it tries to respond by erecting a watchtower from which to overcome the challenges to come. Casa Torre is located at the top of a small hill in a basically flat coastal city, which provides unexpected and exceptional views.
The New Comédie is more than a theatre, it is not only a place of theatrical performance, with its two halls but also a place of creation, with its large construction workshops. It is those who make the New Comédie a real centre of artistic creation, bringing together all the theatre professions under one roof.
The mint house project was a renovation of a typical house – without historical architectural value – for an average family in Kashan, with a very limited budget. The main client’s request for this renovation was moving the bathroom from the yard to the interior space, adding a bedroom if possible and complete removal of the elements of the old building, that had tired them over time.

The laboratory construction is located in an over-elevated landscape area, within the school limits, which consists in a set of pavilions organized according to a rectilinear structure.
The house is developed in a manner that takes advantage of the potential of the site (topography and views) since it is located in a privileged area on the hill Huitepec de San Cristóbal de las Casas in Chiapas, with a temperate climate with low temperatures of up to 6 ° C, a region with a lot of tradition, culture and history.
For the design of this beauty salon, we sought to invert the spatial logic common to most beauty salons: hairdressers and workstations in front of a wall with a gap in the middle. For this, we created a large collective table integrated in a single design gesture, filling the middle of the space and leaving the walls empty. The design seeks to maintain a coherent language incorporating all the necessary elements, we designed oval mirrors fixed to the ceiling and to the counter and finished off the space with a large luminaire that guarantees linear and equally distributed lighting for the services. The lack of hierarchy among the professionals, who work side by side serving clients, guarantees the same experience for everyone in the salon, without separate rooms or special chairs.
