The Shenzhen Reef Library is situated in Jiaochangwei, the only village along the Dapeng Peninsula’s coastline in Shenzhen. The aggressive expansion of the tourism industry has caused this once tranquil and peaceful seaside village overcrowded and noisy. The project is affixed to the edge of a busy old street, and except for the relatively open view from the street, the rest of the three sides are adjacent to the neighboring houses. The initial design purpose was to create a diverse and complex public space within a tightly enclosed site.

Chang’an Citizen Plaza is located in Chang’an Street, Huishan District, Wuxi City. It is surrounded by Chunhui Road, Yingxin Road, Changning Road, and Huiji Road. It is the core place serving the residents in the surrounding communities. Residents rest, walk, or play chess during the day, dance, or chat at night. The service station project originated from the overall renovation and upgrading project of the square that began in 2022, to provide convenient services such as public toilets and rest areas for the renovated and upgraded square.

HELLO Gas Pavilion-Another Look for Gas Station. HELLO gas pavilion, a brand-new gas station built by HELLO New Energy Technology Co., Ltd, locates in Dongying, the prominent petroleum industry hub in China. Since Dongying is the birthplace of the “HELLO” brand, the client desires a flagship look that distinguishes it from its standard image.

During the preparation of the project, we found that, unlike abroad, most technical buildings in the Czech Republic are built without architectural care. Often there are distinctive and expensive buildings without a concept and context, where the potential to reveal their unique poetics has been lost. Together with the representatives of the Prague city district Lysolaje, we, therefore, set the basic thesis of the design at the beginning. Functionality, truthfulness, variability, sustainability, respect for the surroundings, quality of the indoor environment, and serving to educate became the main themes, which we further kneaded to obtain a balanced result.

Beyond is the third studio designed by MAG.DESIGN and DRAA, in collaboration with the visionary founder of boutique gym BECYCLE, Gundula Cöllen. The studio is located on Reichenberger Straße, a rapidly developing “Kietz” in the trendy Berlin neighborhood of Kreuzberg, and is tucked away in the backyard of an industrial business.

Undulating Paradise – Taking inspiration from the natural undulating cave terrain, the design of Undulating Paradise conceals a diverse range of children’s facilities amongst the earth and vegetation. This approach filters out the unnecessary elements of artificial environments and creates a space where children can grow with a sense of natural belonging and sheltered experiences. Adults can also enjoy the simple, relaxed, and leisurely atmosphere while strolling and playing with family and children, sharing moments of familial joy. Located in the heart of Jinjiang District, Chengdu Newhope Tianfu • D10 children’s activity space is in close proximity to the bustling business district of Taikoo Li. Surrounded by high-rises, the architectural environment presents a dual challenge of functional design and a high artistic standard.

Greenstation is a company working on developing energy stations with functionality and usability in mind. Greenstation’s vision is to create a new mobility experience that inspires new sustainable habits. This will be the precondition for accelerating the transition to an emissions-free society and complying with the transport policy goals by 2025.

Leubinger Fürstenhügel is one of Thuringia’s most important archaeological monuments. Located next to a central highway, the burial mound dates back to the Early Bronze Age and is considered to be the largest and most well-preserved of its kind. In proximity to the archaeological find, an unusual project, the Leubinger Fürstenhügel service station, links architecture, landscape, and history. Part of the holistic concept was not only the careful emplacement of the structure within the historically significant surroundings but also the integration of an exhibition and an educational path.

“Palette H” is a beauty salon that individual designers use while sharing space. Each designer shares or occupies a limited space. We identified invisible boundaries, distances, and frequency of actions, and organized the space.
